Ponderize Preach My Gospel

Why should I ponderize Preach My Gospel? Simple! By ponderizing the verses in Chapter 3 of Preach My Gospel everyone can gain a deeper understanding, and eventually a mastery of the Gospel. This is a series to help everyone master the Gospel so they can live it and share it. This is a great missionary prep tool!

This week the verse to ponderize comes from the first lesson in chapter three, the Message of the Restoration, this time we are on the principle “Pray to Know the Truth through the Holy Ghost”
Here is an excerpt from that principle to help set the tone.

“This message of the Restoration is either true or it is not. We can know that it is true by the Holy Ghost, as promised in Moroni 10:3–5. After reading and pondering the message of the Book of Mormon, any who desire to know the truth must ask in prayer to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ if it is true. In order to do this, we address our Heavenly Father. We thank Him for our blessings and ask to know that the message of the Book of Mormon is true. No one can know of spiritual truths without prayer.“

The section to ponderize come from Doctrine and Covenants Section 8:2-3.

2 Yea, behold, I will tell you in your mind and in yourheart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart.
3 Now, behold, this is the spirit of revelation; behold, this is the spirit by which Moses brought the children of Israel through the Red Sea on dry ground.
