Ponderize Preach My Gospel

Why should I ponderize Preach My Gospel? Simple! By ponderizing the verses in Chapter 3 of Preach My Gospel everyone can gain a deeper understanding, and eventually a mastery of the Gospel. This is a series to help everyone master the Gospel so they can live it and share it. This is a great missionary prep tool!

This week the verse to ponderize comes from the first lesson in chapter three, the Message of the Restoration, this time we are on the principle “The Savior’s Earthly Ministry” Here is an excerpt from that principle to help set the tone.

“During His earthly ministry, the Savior taught His gospel and performed many miracles. He called twelve men to be His Apostles and laid His hands on their heads to give them priesthood authority. He organized His Church, fulfilled prophecy, and was rejected and crucified. Most important, He completed the Atonement. The Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, completed all that His Heavenly Father sent Him to do.

Before the Savior’s death and Resurrection, He gave His Apostles authority to teach His gospel, perform the ordinances of salvation, and establish His Church in the world.”

The verse to ponderize is John 15:16 from when Jesus Christ calls the 12 Apostles.

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”
