Why I Wear a Mr. Mac Suit

I was given a suit from Mr. Mac to facilitate this review, the opinions of this post are my own.

When I was preparing to go on my Mission I needed to buy a suit, I found the place that had the best deals for missionaries was Mr. Mac, so I got my suits for the mission there. They were strong and durable and worked great while I was a missionary, when I got home from my mission my suits were worn out from all the tracting and no longer fit, as I had lost 40 lbs on my mission, so I stopped wearing my suits. When I first got home I wanted to lose weight before I got a new suit, I found myself almost two years later and no suit, I realized I needed to once again dress the part, so I finally went to Mr. Mac’s and I talked to Dane (the employee who helped me) about why I wanted a suit and also about my concerns.

My first concern? I thought in order to get a nice suit it would cost me $300-400, but when they showed me the suits they were not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be, they started at only $200. And let’s be honest, we are willing to drop $100 for a nice pair of basketball or running shoes, so $200 for a suit is really reasonable.

My second concern? I knew they would fit the suit when I got it but I was hoping to lose some weight, and then my suit would look awful. But to my surprise, I learned that Mr. Mac offers lifetime alteration services. I could get the suit now and when I lose weight I can have them alter it for free.

I had one final concern, suits are hot! I was looking at a microfiber suit and I mentioned this to Dane, he showed me blended fabric suits that look nice and are more breathable!

All my concerns and questions were answered, so once again I own and wear a Mr. Mac suit. My first time wearing it was Mothers Day and I got so many comments about how good it looked, one of my friends at church told me “You look fresh” another told me that he wants to get a suit now. I learned that Mr. Mac can clothe you, before, during and after your mission and the rest of your life. So if you are in the market for a new suit I recommend you stop by Mr. Mac, you won’t regret it!
